Has anyone found a solution for keeping a pet carrier level when mounting onto the sloped tubular luggage rack?

:welcome: I guess that a lot depends up what kind of carrier you have. :dontknow:
Realizing that you have some really serious weight limitations back there; it'd have to be a super-light frame of tubular aluminum, that you could clamp onto the rack. Just have it built so that the legs under the rear of it, will end up leveling it up.
Bolt your carrier to the new frame, and you'll have a happy pet!

As far as what we do: we carry our four-pound Pomeranian in a carrier that the Missus carries in front of her.

I used some craft styrofoam to create a wedge to support the front edge of our Kuriakin Pet Palace. This is mounted to a RT so it straddles the passenger hand rails. I'll end up making a cover for it but, for now, it works as is.

I thought this was quite clever. At least I don't need to feed my mascot!!!
