I am fairly new to spyders and I'm also in CT looking to do some rides. Anyone in CT add me as a friend and let's meet up.

Any other CT riders going out to Americade? I was thinking of riding out on the 6th and just spending the 7th strolling around, if medical appointments don't get in the way. Never done more than day trips and it'll make a good shakedown cruise. If anyone else is going out that day perhaps we could meet up somewhere.

Any one want to get together this weekend Are you going to be at the Panera again? Not sure if I ought to do long rides until the heat issue is fixed on my ST (scheduled for 7/7), but the left heat deflector panel is already melted in one spot so couldn't get much worse I guess...anyway I put a bit of insulation under it. After the 7th I'll also have a Bajaron sway bar, having been inspired by seeing how much better your bike takes the curves!

Nope, but it finally got inspected by the at fault party's insurance co and will go to the shop where hopefully they ( the insurance co) will get told whatever they got wrong on the estimate.
Spyderquest is receding into the distance... I was looking at a nice 2015 RT Ltd with like 100 miles on it, too.

There is stii tims not any more, I was supposed to leave this morning and the bike doesn't go to the shop until next week. I expect a long delay after that while they explain to the at fault party's insurance adjuster everything he missed, like the damaged frame.
Wish I could've gone, but not feeling great anyway and the weather is lousy. If I have a bike before it gets too cold I'd like to go up to NH or VT a few days, or alternatively do the Blue Ridge Pkwy.

P.S. bike is in the shop on Long Island FINALLY. Frame badly bent.
