More details to come, but for right now there is active planning going on for a benefit ride for NorCal Boxer Rescue, for whom we volunteer for. The plan is for a run up in Lake County on June 6th.

Keep an eye out here for more details as they become available.

Please PM me if you are interested in riding and/or offering items for a raffle to be held at the event.

Thanks.

And even if you are not able to attend the ride for any reason but still want to help, donations can be made on our website at www.ncbr.org (http://www.ncbr.org).

NorCal Boxer Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for Boxers in need throughout California. Boxers come to us from shelters and from owners who are no longer able to care for them. We provide these animals with veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, a microchip, a temporary foster home at a private residence, lots of love, and placement into a carefully screened home forever.

NCBR is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers who have an unmatched love for preserving this wonderful breed. If you have a heart for animals, we invite you get involved in whatever capacity you can. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Oh, and the doggie on the main page on the top right is my current foster boy Rusty (the one showing teeth). He's currently available for adoption and is super sweet. :)

You know Spydergirl, it is probably just as well that we don't live close enough to join you. I am such a sucker for dogs and I love Boxers. I went to the web site and man it would be so easy to fall in love with one of those guys.

Sounds like fun, Spydergirl, but I should be in Denver by then on the US 50 ride...

Here's hoping for a great turnout for your ride!

Here's a bump for this one. If you cannot attend but would like to donate, please do. No amount is too small and donations can be made through PayPal by accessing our website at www.ncbr.org (http://www.ncbr.org/)or www.rescueaboxer.org (http://www.rescueaboxer.org/).

We are also always looking for volunteers including foster homes, transporters, etc, etc -- details can be found on the website.

ALSO, we are looking for items to be donated for the raffle or the BBQ including paper goods, plastic ware, food, etc.

ALSO, we always accept non-cash donations including dog crates, collars, leashes, bedding, food, toys, etc. Again, no amount is too small.

A video to show where all your kind donations go...

YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.

ALL DONATIONS ARE FULLY TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Just an FYI...

A very important fundraising event is quick approaching which starts with a fabulous 60 mile round near Clearlake / Lakeport, CA and ends at a BBQ with a raffle and live music (and of course doggies). This event is to be held on SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH to raise money for NorCal Boxer Rescue and awareness to the need of rescue. Registration starts at 9AM at Ironhorse Creations in Lakeport, CA. I hope all of those who are nearby can attend, and if not, I hope you can at least donate. No amount is too small and all donations are fully tax-deductible.

Thank you for looking.

Registration and information on the BIKERS FOR BOXERS POKER RUN can be found at www.bikersforboxers.com (http://www.bikersforboxers.com/).

For more information on NORCAL BOXER RESCUE, to learn how to become a volunteer, to rescue a Boxer in need, or to donate -- please visit us at www.rescueaboxer.org (http://www.rescueaboxer.org/)or www.ncbr.org (http://www.ncbr.org/).

Thank you and see you all there or in LA!!
