I'm really terrible with names but
I almost never remember faces.

I'm hoping that whenever the WisdomWithAge package is finally downloaded into my brain there
will be a patch for expanded memory.
I think I'll have to wait a very long time.

Anyway, I'm really hoping to meet old friends and friends I yet to have met at Spyderfest this year.
I'm the fat guy in bib overalls standing around staring at my shoes or sitting on a bench looking really dazed.

If we have met before I am very happy to catch up, if we have not met I still would love to hear what you've been up to.

:D I'll be looking for you!

And I'll be the guy, with the dumb look on his face...

Are these the bibs that you'll be wearing?

No, you put your name upside down on a card on a lanyard around your neck. Don't ask how i know this.

Write it on your forehead in lipstick. (but backwards!)
It'll show up nicely in every mirror that you pass by! :D

If we have met before I am very happy to catch up, if we have not met I still would love to hear what you've been up to.We have not met yet. But someday I sincerely hope that changes. It won't be at Spyderfest this year, as I'm not making the trip. But it's bound to happen sooner or later. After all, we both live in Pennsylvania and there are only 12.8 million people who live here. :)

Additional thoughts:

:ani29:: One advantage to getting Alzheimers--you meet new people every day.

:ani29:: If your not sure who you are--that's what drivers licenses are for.

:ani29:: When I used to attend manager meetings, I always wore the tag upside down--that way I could always look to see who I was.

:ani29:: Not sure about those vests with names on them--what happens if I pick the wrong one off the coat rack?

That is why I did a career in the military - quick look, and I could call anyone by their rank and name - it hid the fact that I sucked at remembering names!
