Two points:

We are planning to hold an official opening ceremony on Friday, May 27th at 7pm. Everyone is invited to attended.
A bar-be-cue is being planning to honor veterans for Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th. This is free for all veterans and their families. More information will be sent out as we get closer to Memorial Day (In-kind donations of briskets, hot dogs, condiments, plates, utensils, beans, potato salad, etc. are welcomed for this event.)

Each day we will have the playing of Reveille and aflag raising, the Star Spangled Banner, and the Pledge in the morning, awreath-laying ceremony at noon, and the flag lowering in the late afternoon andthe playing of Taps at sunset.

And finally, a third option for involvement is throughspreading the word about this event. We want people in the area to have theopportunity to visit the Wall if they desire, and we would hate to have themmiss this opportunity just because they didn't hear about it. So, pleaseconsider forwarding this information on to friends, family, colleagues andothers in your circle of influence.
