Just saw pics of Houston. WOW! :yikes: Why do people insist on driving through water. :shemademe_smilie: :dontknow: They interviewed one guy. His reply was, "I had no idea it was so deep". His car was completely submerged! :gaah: Hope anyone in the area is ok. Tom :spyder:

While living in Louisiana I came to recognize that if I left the bike at home every time rain was a threat, I would have missed out on 80% of my good rides!

:agree: although it depends on how hard it is raining when I leave home and if my wife is riding with me. I have found over the years that it is much more pleasant when someone is not riding in the raining and giving me the business going down the road.

Well that does not look good. But then the weather can change in a heartbeat. Hope that is the case for all the festers :pray: Indoors is still a good time when so many get together from so many places and who have been communicating but never meeting face to face....:chat: but be safe going and returning home.:lecturef_smilie:

Even in bad weather at Spyderfest. One of the best secret pie runs a few years back was during a downpour. Soooo what's your attitude going to be in case the prediction is correct. For me it will be wahoo lets jump in the puddles!!!!

Riding in a few good downpours builds character. That what does not kill me, only makes me stronger

I wish I was the vendor selling rain gear at vendor village, they are going to make a killing

This will be my first spyderfest and worst case we drink a ton at the parties it's all about a good time and I know we're gonna get that regardless of Mother Nature, however my wife is driving our nitro down well have room for two more provided it does pour lol

The weight of the rock, divided by the length of the wire, times the altitude at which it will be hung.
