Is it just me, or did the winter go by relatively quickly? It seems like not too long ago, Christmas eve to be exact, I put the Spyder into hibernation. With the incredible weather this past weekend, we got out and put several hundred miles in the log. Our Spyder has taken its' rightful spot in the garage at the ready to ride (which means my car got the boot). The official riding season is once again upon us!

It seems like the winter was shorter than most in the northeast this year. Or, maybe... it's just me?

I rode on December 28th this year; put the bike away for January, and got it back out on February 4th. ;)

It's been glorious!! :yes::yes::yes:

Second winter in a row that the snow thrower was not used. A week later getting the :spyder2::ani29: out though. It snowed a final four inches just to let us know who is still in charge. It has not been warm, but it has not been to cold either. Low 50's riding of late.

The leaves are popping out and it won't be long before the grass starts to green up.

Now I stop and look back it was a mild winter, still seemed like forever between putting her to bed January 1 to waking her up March 12th. Now that its over lets ride, did a ride to a friends dealership Saturday to get my inspection normally a 60 mile round trip some how it took me about 210 miles not sure how that happened. Worked on some Farkleing on Sunday morning then took a ride out through CT for 120 or so. Now 5 days of work will give me little oppertunity to get out again until next weekend, damn.

I never got the sled out of the garage. Never even started it. Yesterday I loaded my Polaris Ranger on the trailer & took it to the dealers to have a wiper assembly installed. It stinks trying to plow snow with it in a snowstorm, can't see. Yesterday afternoon the spyder got loaded on a trailer & left to go to the dealer. Put about 3 miles on it this past Saturday. Hope it is not tied up to long!!!

We had a slow winter, two snow storms. One snow day at school. I'm looking forward to summer and having off for two months!

I used to practice law in NYC for 80 hours a week. I quickly learned the error of my ways when I met my husband, a teacher, and started teaching instead. :)

Hence- 185 working days/yr.

Hey Bob Denman. I to was self employed. I use to say to customers, " I should be riding my motorcycle but if I don't work, I can not afford my motorcycle!" Now I'm retired and hope to ride more. :2excited:
