I had a cat that crawled into the warm engine compartment when I got home. After running inside for something, I came back out and restarted the engine to move the car and heard the loudest cat cries I've ever heard. My then-husband came out and made me go inside the house, not wanting me to see what he suspected to find when he lifted the hood. Lucky for the cat, she had gotten between the fan and the radiator. She only had a small abrasion on her forehead. Unlucky for me that as I held her she peed on me!
