RoHo very nice love the seat and backrest but when you are riding does your back actually hit the back rest or is that more for when you are stopped? :dontknow:

Roger,

I haven't even gotten to ride it yet! I've been confined to a wheelchair for 35 years, paralyzed from waist down. I won't get to ride until after I've gotten the hand brake and the footboards installed. I've gone with the backrests for comfort, but mostly for stability while I'm on the unit. They will help support me since I don't have lower abdominal muscles to do that job anymore. Everyone that has sat on it or ridden it so far has said the seats are REALLY comfortable and that the backrests help a lot. The backrests are adjustable so they support you at all times, or not, as you wish. Just adjust the way you prefer.
