Hi Everyone
Well I told Lamont about this a bout 2 weeks ago and now it's your turn.
I hope you can read this.
I now have a NEW motorcycle that is 26 years old. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=127534&stc=1http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=127535&stc=1
As you can see it has 00547.2 miles on it. I took it to the Honda shop where it was bought new and had everything
made of rubber replaced Tires, seals, hoses, everything rubber, all new fluids, total check everything. it only cost me
$785.00 for everything Not a bad barn find. What say you......?

Wow! and :congrats: on your "barn" find.

I really like the Honda Pacific Coast. There are two that I know of riding around here in the Anchorage area, but not as nice as yours.

Very nice Dave, and congratulations, that is going to turn out to be a fine ride. For some reason they weren't all that popular back then, but that doesn't stop it from being a really nice motorcycle. Keep us updated if you would.

Good job Dave. I have never met a Oacific Coast rider who didn't have a big smile on his face. I always thought they were a great meld between a scooter and a motorcycle. And as I remember they get great mileage.:yes::clap:

That's great find Dave, but I think that since it is a Pacific coast. It might actually have 100547 miles.

You know if I had not been tracking this for years
I may agree, the ones you see out there all have
high milage they were a popular commuter bike
when they took off all the body parts you could see
all the factory markings had not been touched.
I think I will ride it to Yosemite Saturday and see if it
still remembers it's first ride there.

Ah, the PC, reputed to be the world's most boring motorcycle. Also, one of the best bikes Honda ever made and was never truly appreciated by the consumers. Interestingly enough, Honda is now making an updated version in the guise of the NC700. Congrats! Great find.

...Honda is now making an updated version in the guise of the NC700...

My last bike was the Honda NC700 with autoshift. I loved it an would still be riding it if my knees would allow.

Enjoy your barn find!

I owned a 1989 PC. Drove it for many years. A really great, trouble free bike that was way ahead of its time. Fantastic find!

That is a great bike! I rode one for 12 years (a 1995 model). All it took was tires, batteries, oil and spark plugs. The engine/ drive train never gave a seconds problem in the whole time. I wonder where it is now?
