Minimum size trailer for 2 Spyders

Can you please tell me what the minimum dimensions would be for a trailer for 2 Spyders? Thanks!

At 9' long you'll be talking a pretty long trailer. If they have no luggage you might be able to get creative pulling one on then backing the other on at an angle. I've got a 7x16 enclosed that my motorcycle and our ST-L fit on but even my bike has to go on at an angle.

That would be my suggestion. That's a big trailer and if it's enclosed you'll need a decent size tow vehicle. If it's a V nose you may need to back the first Spyder in.

The v is a bonus 30" So trailer would be 18' inside plus v nose.
Keep in mind if you get a v nose your tongue will be considerably shorter
you really have to be careful backing up. If v nose is your choice get 1 with an extended
tongue problem solved. Like you mentioned an enclosed would be very heavy unless its all aluminum
I myself have a open 18' open trailer with ramp weighs about 2300lbs

jill, duke is spot on for his advice. knowing that you are eventually going to be towing this behind a big rv, the short tongue is a definite problem. if I had the chance to buy my again, i'd have checked for an extended tongue on the trailer. :spyder2:on my friends!!

We have a7 X 16 with a V-nose. Back one in, drive the second one in. Room to walk on sides and between noses but not around the ends. Go as low as you can on the height. Search for my other post that had a picture of the Spyder's in the nest (I can't get it to reload from my phone).

Thanks for all of your replies / advice. Like Chuck mentioned, we will be pulling the trailer behind a motorhome and don't want to make any mistakes as far as the trailer is concerned.

I use a 12" hitch extension for my V-nose. Works great. They come in 6-14". Slides into hitch receiver then the hitch adapter goes into it.

I would also check weight of your trailer loaded and compare that with receiver load capacity. If your camper is a class C you probably have a 3500# receiver. That's what on mine anyway. Class A no problem. :doorag:
