after a very long wait time and ton's of test, ( all of which i passes, seems like they don't believe the good results ) i have my weight loss surgery on the 16 Th. i should be out of the hospital on the 17 Th. but my sister insists she takes me to her house for a few days. so if i am not posting anything stupid for a few days, that is the reason why. so the next time i post after the 16 th. you might notice i am about 18 Oz's. lighter from the part of mt stomach they remove. i hope you notice the weight loss.

Good luck.

Any advice from the dr. regarding what and how much to eat post surgery?

Are you by chance going to NY Presbyterian?

i am going to have the surgery at north shore hospital on long island. when i met the doctor the other day, i met a guy that had the same surgery on the end of DEC. and he was down 61 pounds already. i am now 358 pounds, down 10 pounds since i started a liquid diet 2 weeks ago. i mainly decided to do this because my knees are going on me from my weight, and i was told i can get more speed out of my bike. i will let you know how things go, and thanks for all the well wishes

Our prayer for your recovery. All doctors always suggest to loose the extra weight , they must know better that it's good loose wt. if you have knee problem, high bp, diabetis, arhtritis, and many many ailments. Proper diet not excess diet should all of us to consider. Like john said the lighter we weigh the faster our:spyder2: will go, and the mpg will increase.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.

quick story, i am working on a job on 5th ave, at lunch i always ate from one wagon on 5th ave, the best dogs ever. one day we come out of work and go down the block to get something to eat off the wagon. when we get there the cops have a construction worker in cuffs, and EMT'S are working on the vendor, he was a bloody mess. we later found out that the construction worker saw the vender getting his water for the wagon out of the water fountain in front of the PLAZA HOTEL, and chased the guy but didn't catch him. but he did catch him where he sold food.

THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER HEARD SOMEONE SAY, EVER WONDER WHERE A HOT DOG GUY PEES DURING THE DAY,

 I had a riding buddy, who was a Guard up at the Clinton Correctional Facility.
He used to always have the inmates bring him coffee, and he often wondered how many gallons of urine he had consumed... :barf:
