Great write up, hope to see you in Daytona this year.
I am going to test ride the F3-T, it has really got my attention
like you said it is the best of both worlds (F3 and RT).

Hi Lamont, when I test drove the F3 at spyder fest it felt like Can-Am really uncorked the power over mt RT. The rep implied it had as much to do with gearing, transmission ratios, and having a clutch over what I was feeling on my RT. But at age 60, the riding position simply would not work for me. In fact, I had discomfort issues after the short test ride.
Can you touch on if both bikes compare were clutched or auto. I understand the comfort in your review, but I didn't get a real feel for a F3S to F3T comparison from a power and handling platform. Can you cross compare the three rides. F3S, F3T, RT
Thanks
Dennis

It's all a personal thing. The RT you're pretty much locked into the riding position and the only real movement is if you have floor boards. You're sitting almost 4" higher and that effects the handling and it's really noticeable when you go to the F3 from the RT.

I love my F3S the way I have it setup now but if I was going to go and and buy today I would go with the F3T, it just does everything well. If you you weren't comfortable on the F3 you test rode chances are it wasn't setup right for you. It's the only Spyder that can be adjusted for your needs in the showroom.

I need a really good report on passenger comfort. I would like to upgrade from my ST limited but it does not look all that comfortable for Sharon on the back. I ride about 10000 miles a summer and she is on the back for 9000 + miles.
