I use a battery tender. It works great. Slow charge till charged and then maintains a float charge

Deltran makes many different models, the Battery Tender Junior is a good one.

Deltran, Battery Tender is the only one I would use. Just plug it in when parked for the winter and don't worry about it until spring.

I have used the Deltran Battery Tender exclusively. We winter in Florida for six months. I have one hooked up to my FJR1300 and one hooked up to my Hyundai Santa Fe. When we get back to New Yoyrk in April everything fires right up. I would not consider any thing else.

I have 3 of them in use right now. Spyder, Utility tractor and a Hydraulic dump trailer battery. No complaints they do what they are advertised to do at a reasonable price.

Deltran's Battery Tender brand is probably the most popular and well known, but it's not the only one out there. The key is to look for one that shows battery maintenance mode. One I would stay away from is the Harbor Freight one. I've read comments where they've ruined batteries. I have two chargers from NAPA, one a real 12/75 amp charger with a 2 amp charge/maintenance mode, and one that is only a 2 amp charger/maintainer. Both work quite well. Do not buy a trickle charger. They have a constant output that will cook a battery eventually.

I have a Canadian tire electronic smart charger, use it for the spyder and the camper battery in storage, very economical and work's great, has both 6 and 12 volt options.

I use the noco genius 3500 with a canbus attachment that plus into the 12 volt in the trunk. You do not have to move the fuse
