Has anyone ever towed a Spyder behind a vehicle using a U-Haul car dolly? Or is a trailer a better choice? Pulling with a Lexus RX.
Headed to Spyderfest in April and thinking about all my options.
Thanks for any advise and see ya'll at Spyderfest 2016.

In a word... Don't! nojoke

(Now for the Story... :D)
Leaving the rear wheel dragging with the belt in place, will probably do lots of harm to the transmission. It would be spinning, without the benefit of proper lubrication.
Taking the belt off and on pretty much makes the entire process a major pain in the........ backside! :opps:
Dragging it backwards would most likely have the nosepiece of the bike in pieces... and the windshield would need removing because they're just not designed to be dragged that way...

Ride the bike to Springfield; you'll be glad that you did!

YA , NO , NEVER EVER, EVER TOW A SPYDER:mad::banghead::lecturef_smilie:. Get someone to ride it or put it on a trailer. The towing of a spyder will cost UNTOLD DOLLARS WORTH OF DAMAGE, NOT WORTH IT. Do it correctly and save yourself the hassle , greif, and expense.
