There is a kick-ass blizzard in the northeast. l shovel snow every 3 hours for my dogs. They are forecasting snow in terms of feet, not inches. I guess the bike will need to hibernate for a couple of months.

I left New York in 1971. I dug a post hole in the backyard before I left, stuck the handle of my shovel in it and to top it off, wrote, "May you RUST in peace" on the blade. Don't miss shoveling snow. Last night we got 1", that's enough.

My dogs used the piddle pads when they were puppies. But won't use them as adults.

Usually it is us Canuck's WHO GET HAMMERED, This year the God's are with us in the far north. My dog will go out no matter what, depending on the weather , he probably needs to be toweled off, kinda weird on his thougt process, numerous times he comes in absoulety white, and that covers up his white hair/fur ???

Got plenty of seat time today but it was on my tractor. Plowed my drive and then 3 of the neighbors. Snow pile on the left side of the drive is about 4' deep.

The guy who usually plows my driveway is in the hospital. I did it all by hand in 5 hours.

Today was like a summers day so I rode for about 100 miles. For the very first time I sweat in my leather jacket, because I was too warm. :doorag:

And today it is FREEEZING RAIN, they are even calling for localixed flooding if you do not have proper drainage. Thinking about hooking up the rain barrels again for the summer plant,s. Will kick the snow down a bit but CARNAGE WILL ensue on the commute tomorrow. What weird weather, from earthquake in Alaska, to Snowmaggedon in the Eastern Us, to freezing rain in Canada's north, dog still goes out, just takes longer to dry off, and you remember the places you forgot to dry when you get the DOGGIE SHAKE OFF.

And now they are calling for Atlantic Canada to get buried, from a massive storm, sure to hit some parts of the eastern US as well. What is all this talk of GLOBAL WARMING???
