My 2011 Spyder RT Ltd wouldn't hold air in the rear suspension so I replaced the compressor and air bag. Still no. So then I had a mechanic familiar with air suspensions take it apart and seal all connections very well. It still won't hold air for even 1/2 hour. Any ideas out there?

Did you replace the air compressor with the BRP part? If so, the outlet fitting contains the check valve and is a separate part and has to be ordered separately. So if you reused the outlet fitting, I'm leaning towards that the check valve is leaking by. Of course, I'm assuming that your mechanic has already checked all the tubing fittings for leaks with soapy water or something like that. Went through this myself this past summer.

Whenever there is a problem, you need to find the 'root cause.' Using the 'swap and pray' method doesn't always work. Fill a spray bottle with water and dish detergent, then spray every component of the system while it is under pressure. I'm sure you will find the cause. Happy hunting.:banghead:

Thanks. It was all BRP parts but I don't know about the check valve or if he used soapy water. I am checking.

Item number 28, Part number 706000831. 27 bucks here in the states.
Rightfully, it should come as part of the compressor, but it doesn't. As the compressor fails and throws off dust and pieces of vanes into the check valve, it won't seal anymore. And of course, you want to check for leaks and the simple stuff first. The tubing fittings are push to fit fittings. The threaded fittings require a thread sealant, not just Teflon tape.
