That looks to me to be an expensive
device made to scratch up face shields
so you have to keep buying new ones.

 If you just stick your head out into the wind, and turn it sideways a bit...

...The wind'll take all of the rain off of your faceshield anyway!

Definitely not interested. Wind drag should have fun with that contraption.

:agree:, and aside from the fact that it likely wouldn't work very well, that contraption just looks plain dorky!

Let's face it, we all knew it was coming sooner or later.....better later...but what are ya gonna do? People will buy it, and as mentioned, the shield manufacturers will love it! I'll stick to turning my head a bit every now and then.

Like riding with a brick on the top of your helmet. Helmet balance, forget it, a lot of added weight on your neck, not for me. If the rain is bad enough to warrant a wiper. It will need to go faster and you probably shouldn't be riding anyway.

I've ridden in some pretty heavy downpours and never needed one of these. Fogging tends to be a bigger problem.

If you're running a blue ridge windshield you won't even have to turn your head...

Now, if someone would come up with a decent wiper for the windshield I'd take a hard look at that. Do Spyders going to Japan have wipers? Goldwings do. Japanese law from what I've read requires them.

If they could just make a helmet with a fishbowl shield that would spin around your head fast enough that the centrifugal force would fling off the raindrops...
....Naaaaaa:hun:

I use the wind in your face method to clean off the shield. Won't be buying a helmet with wiper any time soon.

All it did is distroy a windshield
and scratch a Lexan shield as well
