My daughter and grandson were up from SC to celebrate Christmas. We haven't had one together in 7 years. When I was visiting them in October, I showed my grandson what his "grandma" rides now. He was so excited. The temps were a little chilly over the weekend, but I took him for a ride and he didn't want to get off.

 But you're far too young to be a Grandmother! :D

You sound like me...
It's true that we have to grow old...

..But growing up, is strictly optional!

I have one friday a month where i get off half day because i have to work a half day on saturday. If on that day i do not pick-up my daughter (10) from school on the spyder she gets mad :) she like to have all her friends see her on it. We also take other rides all the time but she really looks forward to me getting her from school on it

I pulled over into a church parking lot to make sure he was alright since it was chilly and the sun was beginning to go down; his question to me was, "Can we go faster?" :yikes:

I can hear it now when they get back home, "Mom, can we get a spyder"?, "Mom, can we get a spyder"?,"Mom, can we get a spyder"? "Mom, can we get a spyder"?

.......Just a thought........I did this ( before doing something better ). Put a belt around the child, a snug fit..........Then put a belt thru that belt and put it around you semi-snug fit ( sort of figure eight ) then they can't even begin to fall off without you knowing about it, and you can take action........I know we aren't supposed to giving rides etc........but explain that to a crying child :lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie :.........Merry Christmas ...Mike ......PS.....It does look like She had Him secured to Her with something

I don't think that these extenders will work on an RS...

But if any "RT Jockeys" have younger co-pilots; these might just fit the bill!

Yes, he was secured to me with a ratchet belt. He wasn't going anywhere without me going to!

A few year ago when my kids were younger, we rode often on a motorcycle. The rule was for the kid to hook their both thumbs and/or fingers in my belt and keep them there. My son one time rode from Lewes, DE to Centerville, PA after a fishing trip; asleep most of the way.
