This moron would last approximately 2.1 seconds in any city in the United States.

I saw on the internet where someone put a real gun inside one of these. Everyone looked at him like he was nuts, but what if it was a trial run, and next time the officers will be shot with the toy. I can't believe they didn't arrest him.

A few sheets of colored plastic. Some orange paint for the flash supressor. Yellow paint for the stock. Some colored tape maybe. and my long gun looks like a toy. Easy way to get killed these days.
This fool should have been " detained" for a few days.

Pointing a fake weapon( as an adult ) will cause:::

Some of the bad guys are camo-ing their weapons with toy like features to avoid obvious detection. It's nothing new. Efforts to disguise lethal weapons has been around for years. Cell phone pistols, to 20 ga. shot gun handle bars on choppers. You never know when you could be standing with in three feet of a concealed weapon.

There are BB/pellet pistols out there that have a muzzle velocity as high as 600 fps, up close and personal, that's deadly.
I recently saw a video of a wild pig being taken with an air rifle - 1500 fps, 1 shot, dead pig.
Beyond that, there is a 22 caliber machine gun, no license needed, works with a compressed air tank - 600 fps, 1200 rounds per minute.
'Course nobody serious would want something like that, right?

Ya, he wouldn't last long in NYC..
Could you imagine the fallout if a NYC cop shot him?
Al sharpton would be in front of the camera in minutes.

Let some nit-wit point something like that at Al Sharpton, and see what he thinks of the whole idea? :D

Okay here is your sign <<<< STUPID >>>>

A lot of the "bobbies" don't carry guns, so I guess he figured he was pretty safe.

In the US, he'd be sporting a toe-tag, a nice white sheet and a body temperature of about 36 deg. F.

What an idiot...

I will give my opinion, based on my training and time spent working in some of New York City's more dangerous boroughs. Anytime someone takes on an officer, for sport, there is sure to be some fallout. Firstly, the officer could be doing something much more important than dealing with the juvenile antics of some misguided youth. Secondly, in some areas of NYC, challenging and officer with some asinine questions could in fact place that officer at risk. His attention diverted to the idiot in question. As far as the Nerf gun incidents..I find it rather idiotic that the people involved decided it was a good idea to perform such a stunt. Who raised these idiots?
