looks like a miata. Has the first version of the 124 sport coupe sister to the spyder back in the seventies before fiat no longer shipped to the US. Great car first of the few dual overhead cams belt driven engines. But it was a car nonetheless...:roflblack:

In 1970 I just got out of the Air Force and wanted a small work car. I drove a new Porsche 914 and it was cool because it was the "cheap" Porsche, basically a Kharmann Ghia in drag. I liked it but it was a little tight, me being 6ft-5in tall:) Nearby was a Fiat dealer and they had a new 124 Spider convertible and it was really beautiful. I drove it and in every way I felt it surpassed the little Porsche. I debatted a couple of weeks and then bought a new Renault R10 as it was all I could afford anyway @ $1,900 versus right at $4,000 for the Fiat or the Porsche.:(

Now how much is that new 2016 RT Limited I want so badly????? Say what! That's almost $10,000 more than my last 2012 Goldwing:yikes:

I must need some of that "income redistribution" that the lefties want to spread around from our TAX DOLLARS!

I'm bipolar and it hit real hard in 2000. As I slid into my phase with a job I hated and mid life crisis going full bore, I decided I wanted that "sports car" I deserved. Purchased a "top of the line" Mitsubishi Spider convertible with all the bells and whistles using a bank credit card (the excuse was the "no/no/no" program before the card charges would begin). Yep, silly car companies were offering no $ down, no interest or payments for a year !

I really liked that car and drove the hell out of it. In fact, being manic for 2 years, I'm fortunate the car didn't kill me.
