Another vote for either one of the speaker grilles. Easy access. Pull one out and check it out

I mounted a weatherproof 12v outlet from Battery Tender on JT's accessory bar on top of the glare shield. Keeps the wires out of the way and easily accessible for charging my phone, also mounted there. I keep a duel USB charger inserted in it.

On the left side of my 2011 RT just inboard of the left passenger grab handle I found a mounting blank already moulded into the plastic. it was a simple job to press out the blank and install a power outlet fused to 10 amps for my wife's electrically heated vest. The socket is very convenient in this position to supply 12 volts to the vest. The aim was to keep the wire to the vest as short as possible. if i needed an electrical supply for a different purpose I would obviously mount the supply socket close to where it was needed, I would hate to have exposed or trailing wires running around my Spyder. BRP made a good looking machine, it's not my job to turn it into a cluttered-looking mess.

You could mount it on the dash or in place of a gauge.

Oh the bezels are satin black now...
