Can i take the battery out of my 2013 RT for the winter without causing damage to the computer system?

That's a very good question. I'd like to know that also. Someone who really knows, please jump in.

Yup! Removing the battery won't damage anything.

:agree: many do this if the storage area has no electrical outlet. Otherwise they use the battery maintainers (tenders) you read so much about.

You can take battery out, then i would bring it in the house and put it in a dry place. Keep it out of reach of pets and kids.

Sorry I can not help you, I use a battery tender, and I store my :spyder2: at a dealership. Deanna ( Come on spring!)

Don't know where you store your Spyder so I'll pass on commenting except to caution that you remove and reinstall the battery terminals in the sequence listed in you owner's manual, i.e., disconnect the negative cable first and reinstall it last.
