I just traded my 2012 limited for a 2015 limited. Could someone give me some direction on shift rpms? Also on my 12 I rarely used 5th gear on 2 lane roads and only went to 5th unless i was traveling on interstates or wanted to go faster than 65 mph. On 2 lane highways I usually run about 60-62 in 4th gear at 53-5400 rpms. What should I expect with the 1330 and 6 speed?

I have a 2015 SE6 and have found the sweet spot for shifting to be at around 3,000 RPM. There are some on here who prefer to shift at much lower RPM, but I find the shifting to be quite smooth at 3,000. JMHO

2 totally different animals! I use ECO mode to get adjusted to what the engine likes for shift points. Usually is to start is 2750 RPM shifts then gets lower the higher gears you go. I can be in 6th at 45.

I have been shifting in the 3000-3500 rpm range and everything is smooth.

:congrats: on your new 1330. You are going to like it a lot. Previous posters are right on the money.

You will find your "sweet spot" usually between 3000 - 3500 rpm's.

The 1330 will run nice in 6th gear from 50 mph and above. Plenty of torque should you need some extra punch. Or, shift it down one and Awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay We Gooooooooooooooooo, as Jackie Gleason would have said.

The ECO mode will have you shift a bit earlier. You will either like it or not. Saves about 1 - 2 mpg in my experience.

I Like the 2012 Rt 5 Speed shifting BETTER than my 2015 F3 1330 Shifting Pattern Because I have to shift an extra time if you ask me? The ONLY thing I do not like about the 1330 is the Extra Gear which I do not need!nojoke

:congrats: I'm a "Low & Slow" kind of rider... ;)
I shift early; as early as the computer will allow.
2,000 rpm for 2nd and 3rd
2,500 rpm for 4th, 5th, and 6th.
The bike has plenty of power, and doesn't seem to mind it!
