Artistic motorcycle helmet

Shoei is known for rock solid engineering, but not for a design flair. So I was surprised to see this come from them. I need a quality helmet with a pinlock shield and sun visor. My cheapy Bell helmet fogs up, has no sun visor, and leaks cold air. I like both, but the red really gets me :firstplace:

I up graded from the RF-1100 to the RF-1200 because they were going to have a Photochromatic shield for it. When the shield came out finally....oh the sticker shock was too high! Both are yellow for better vis to the driving public.

I also bought the RF1200 because the photo chromatic shield was coming, but it never did. I eventually quit looking for it and muddled along without. Now you mention it came out and Revzilla says its not available!! Dang!

Patti, the Lazer Monaco Pure Carbon and the Pure Glass modular helmet
comes with a photochromic shield. They're very light too.

Thx, Jeff. I'll consider those when I get a new one. But I can't justify the cost yet.
