Its when the rubber meets the road that things get interesting.

A 4 cylinder motor and electric motors. Isn't that redundant ?

It's from Lazareth in France. Looks like it's just been released. They're doing all kinds of crazy 3 wheel conversions! One could probably buy two more new GWs for what this one-off conversion cost!

Concept and show bikes :banghead:... Nothing of interest, until "Mother H" has it on the showroom floors with a price-tag hanging from it.

Just a personal opinion here on Mother Honda.

Of late, they have been chugging out the bikes pretty fast. And...some of it has been good stuff. DN-01 did not work because it was way over priced at almost $15K. I thought about that one--but cost just did not seem right. I would chalk that one up to "lesson learned."

They have recently given us the F6B and brought back the Valkerie. Both built off the Gold Wing concepts.

The DN-01 technology has now been showing up in some of their other bikes.

With the success of :spyder2:, I know that other manufacturers are looking at the concept. The fact that Honda has this one as a prototype...I am guessing it could be on the market in a year or so if they wanted to. Engine & performance will be what will cause others to "jump ship," if it comes out.

I repeat...I am not going to join the party because I am thinking they are getting the :ani29: almost perfect.

Agreed but looks like that neowing is getting close. Im very interested in seeing and riding one and more importantly the price on one :)

Good thought, but in 4 +/- a year or two, many riders will be looking to renew.... They may join the GW guys jumping to this new 3 wheel wonder from Honda.

I would be interested to know the average age of the GW rider as that may be the [initial] intended market. If you look at the high number of 3 wheeled GWings (2 in rear), the growing number is hard to ignore. This kind of bike keeps their riders from jumping ship. If there is anyone that should be worried, its the guys that offer a trike kit for the GW. They have to get the body/luggage capacity right, but they have lots of buyers out there.

One of the rumored changes coming to the Spyder that I didn't think to include in this thread, http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?86361-Spyder-changes-coming!, is front wheel drive. No idea if the concept is front wheel drive or all wheel drive.

That may be the next big change for the RT.
