Well we took a ryde close to the area of Middletown yesterday. We saw a lot of smoke in the area but we didn't really have to ryde through it at all. It is a combination of drought and heat and no humidity that has created a tinderbox in Northern California. The weather is changing this week to cool down and hopefully that will assist the Fire Fighters in their battle. They have stated that at least 400 houses have been destroyed but they say it maybe as many as 1000. Unbelievably sad and out prayers go out to the people in the area and to all the Fire Fighters putting their lives on the line. :pray:
