Our annual charity ride yesterday. I lead group two. Unfortunately the turnout was low. Threat of rain, other events. But we still managed to raise $3,000.00 for the Wayne County Veterans and Patriots Coalition. Only ran in to some light showers. Didn't even need rain gear.

I'll email it to you. The only real "Words of Wisdom" are 'Stay out of combat if at all possible, if not kill every one in sight that you don't know'. Don't ask me how I came up with that!!

It has some pretty good pearls of wisdom...

"Never tell the Sergeant that you have nothing to do"
"Never fly with anyone who's braver than you"
If you PM me your email; I can send it to you...

Had another mission this morning. Had to be up at o dark thirty, something I'm not used to anymore. It was actually cool on the ride in. Bike thermometer read 52f. Anyway, this was a mission to kick off POW/MIA week at Seymour Johnson AFB. We escorted some airmen on a five mile run. The lead bike carried the POW flag. Later in the week we will escort the flag and some former POWs for a ceremony at wing headquarters. Have to go now. Need to get the F3 washed and shined.
