I purchased Arachnid tires for my 2014 RTL, two fronts and rear tire. At this time my rear tire is down to 4mm tread and my fronts are 6.5mm treads.
My question is:
Should I change all three tires and save the Kendra fronts as emergency spares, or just change the rear tire and save the two new fronts for later date. I'd like to hear from the Spyder RTL experts.

...they do not age well. I'm not a Limited Expert (your requirement in your post). Just an observation. "If ya got em use em" -

I usually change tires when I figure that they've already given me what they've got to give...
If you're still comfortable with the front tires and how they handle; leave them on for a while...

Change the fronts later as long as you are happy with them..I recently did my rear with the newer Vee Rubber and left the stock fronts on..

you can get a lot more out of the fronts. Many get two rears to one front. New tires store better than used ones. I would change them when you need to. Jmo  I buy in sets as well and found this to be the best way...

Thanks all, I am changing the rear only and getting a laser alignment at the same time.

Keep the new fronts that you are not using in out of the sun.
