Bike "Squeaks" when engaging into gear

I noticed a slight squeak when engaging into gear. It's a slight sound as the transmission engages. I'm not sure if this is a new sound or if it is a normal noise that I have just noticed. It is not loud, but enough to notice it's there. Sound familiar?

Depending on the amount of miles that you have on your bike; there's always little idiosyncratic noises that'll drive you crazy...

Bob.., your so right... so the back story to this is I am towing with the bike for the first time.... on my first "long" trip.... (Spyderquest )every noise on that bike is making me paranoid! I only have 14k.. thanks for your input!
