Hey guys, I just joined this forum haven't read many posts yet (working on it). I am a long time 2 wheel rider, I am currently riding a Victory Vision (which I love) and just bought a 2014 RT Ltd (Cognac) for my wife and I to tour on. I know there is a lot to learn but any hints, tips, recommended posts would be appreciated.

thanks
ED

Hi Ed!
:welcome:
In the General Discussion area; there's a thread up near the top about "Do's and Don'ts". If I were you; I'd start with that one.
You've got lots of great roads to ride in your neck of the woods (Or is that "Pines"? :D_

:welcome: My last two wheeler was also a Victory Vision. Best thing on two wheels IMO. The Spyder is the best thing on three wheels! The riding experience takes some getting used to, but it doesn't take long.

what have you been doing since March when you joined...:roflblack::roflblack: you should be ryding by now and a pro......read the manual cover to cover..I know this is hard for us dudes but it will answer many of the questions that are forming in your mind. Don't know if it still comes with the video if it does watch it, then go find a place to practice a bit. The do's and do not's mentioned will be a big help...your on your way enjoy it...:2thumbs:

Please allow me to also say :welcome: and :congrats: on your new :spyder2:.

Do's and Don'ts is a very good place to start. There is supposed to be a safety video included with your owners packet. A lot say there is about a 500 mile learning curve. It took me 1,500 or so. Hard to break old two wheel habits for me.

I live in NJ also, Tuckerton. Also purchased a Spyder this year. You and your Wife are going to love it. Sold my Vulcan a few months after purchasing the Spyder. We never rode it because the Spyder is more comfortable and we can actually carry stuff in it.

Good Luck, Louie

:congrats: :welcome:! And you picked the best 2014 color too! One of the best things to do is read the Operator's Guide. There's lots of good and important information in it.
