Hi,

We have a 2008 GS... thinking of a Rampage Lift, but we just traded in the full size pick up for the new Chevy midsize... yes I know, we thought of all that in the way wrong order! Anyone have any experience with a Rampage Lift on a less than full size truck? We have called several distributors and they all "think" it will work, but no one has been sure. Thats a lot of money to not be sure.

Any suggestions, comments, ideas, experiences are most welcome!!

Thanks!

The total length of the lift is 8' when it is not extend. If you have a short bed pickup you'll likely have to leave the tail gate down to get the 8' you need to mount the lift in the truck's bed. If you have only a half ton truck, the spyder plus the lift will have you pretty much maxed out weight wise. Call the owner of Rampage and ask questions, he's a very nice guy and will help you anyway he can. By the way you should remove the spyder's windshield anytime you tow it backwards. Not a big deal and easy to do.

 Putting all of the weight THAT high in the air??? :yikes:
I hate to rain on your parade, but I sure wouldn't do it!
The Colorado isn't designed to handle a load that heavy; placed that high...
