All - I replaced my stock exhaust with a Tailgunner Widow Maker. I just wanted a different sound. Let me know what you think.

Like how it looks. At what rpms does it start spinning?

To be honest I don't know....the one in the video below rotates a lot:

I had the same Tailgunner on my 2014 RT and the barrels spun at idle as soon as I started it up.Not sure why yours are not :dontknow:

Since yours is still brand-new; it might take a few miles to burn off whatever is keeping it from spinning freely. ;)
Please let us know how it affects the performance of the bike!

Sounds great! I'd like a more throaty sound too. But with rotation comes wear. What happens when it stops spinning?

So I read the cleaning instructions and it said to ensure a smooth rotation you should use WD-40 to remove any carbon or dirt. I shouldn't have to do that because it is new, but I think I will give it a try.

Nice! But too pricey to just make me a little more deaf! Huh, Whadya say?

Here's another video. I added a little WD-40 and it spins like a champ.

It sounds a lot quieter than the one I had on mine '09. It was too loud and I had to take it off. I still have it and thinking about sending back in to get new baffles and a new elbow for my '14 RT. Here's what it looked like on my '09

V Twins would typically be louder.
Nature of the beast.

where did you get the pipe ext that's needed for this muffler cause in may tailgunner didn't have a pipe ext for the new spyders I have a 2011 and I have this pipe too it sounds louder than yours I am looking at a 2016 bike so I would like to get the pipe before I buy the new bike so they can transfer it over.700.00 is a lot of bucks I don't want to give it up. also plan on using a lot of wd40 the barrels get carboned up a lot I've had mine for a little over a year now also the three screws that are on the barrels will come loose so check them often after long rides I've had to replace the nuts twice.i see you chose the chrome barrels I was going to do that but tailgunner guy said i'd be better with brown barrels due to carbon build up so I agreed.

I got the ACE pipe ext from Tailgunner. Thank you for the tips on the nuts.

Charlie from Tailgunner didn't tell me about the barrel color...but I wanted chrome color because I have a lot
of chrome on my RT.

Cool photo. I think mine is louder in real life than on the video.

Go Air Force! I retired in 2008.

Just retired from the Air Force myself (2013). Worked on the A-10 for 24 yrs, thus my affection for the tailgunner exhaust. Here's a link to my album with some other WWII warbirds.

Nice photos. Were you ever at Myrtle Beach AFB? They had A10s & I was from the 1987-1992. The base closed in 1993.

I was there for a few weeks for follow-on tech school training. Left right before Hugo hit. I went to my first duty station in Alexandria, LA. It was weird seeing all the MB people there when the jets got "hurri-vac" there.
