Well the story of about why I got these floorboards is in the video.

I was not even considering floorboards due to the fact I have a SM5 (manual shift).
I road my Spyder for over 2 years without them and thus felt floorboards were probably not worth the money. Well until Randal came along and gave me an offer I could not refuse.

He has the most reasonably priced RT floorboards out there!
In fact I consider them very inexpensive compared to other floorboards and in fact most other accessories you buy for your Spyder!

Cannot beat an online Web price of $135!

Special thanks to Randal Geiger (Inspector Gadget) for sending these to try & buy if I like them.

However it appears his site is down right now. I let him know so hopefully it will be back up soon.

Thanks Bob. BTW have you done a video on replacing the brakes on a 2010-2012 or an oil change on a V Twin? We need to gather all your videos into one place.

Thanks Bob. BTW have you done a video on replacing the brakes on a 2010-2012 or an oil change on a V Twin? We need to gather all your videos into one place.

Brakes will be coming up very soon. At least the rear. Oil change I have done a "simi" video on that. There are many other videos on doing an oil change so I did not go into great detail on mine. And mine is a SM5 so only one filter.

All my videos are organized on my youtube channel:

Also I upload them all to the "media" section here on Spyder Lovers. At the top of Spyder Lover page click "media". On the right side you will see my name. Click on my name and it lists all my videos.

EDIT: I see Lamont remove the "media" link and replaced it with his store :(
So go to my youtube channel.

You will never ride without them. I put them on my Harley six years ago and didn't even look at a Spyder without them. You will find a total difference in your ride.

Installed a pair on my 2015 RT SM6 with the heel toe shifter this weekend. So far i like them, install of the actual floor boards takes maybe 2 minutes. Only issue there is i dont like the phillips head bolts cause they strip to easy. The heel toe shifter works great, no issues getting into gear or neutral. Only issue i had installing that was its really hard to hold up the piece to determine exactly where to drill the holes. There is not a lot of variance in where you could place it though. I would have like to actually mount it back a little farther because there is not really enough room to keep my foot exactly in between the front and rear shifters, however there is enough room on the floorboards to keep your foot slightly to the left of the front shifter. Both Randal who sells the floor boards and Bob who recommended them scared me with the self tapping screws so i went to pep boys and got some 4mm bolts and nylock nuts to use instead. There is a tiny bit of swivel back and forth as explained in bobs video, nothing that it bothersome but i wonder if other floorboards dont have it, if so they must completely remove the stock peg mounts so has to be a major install. Here is a picture. Bottom line is recommend them (if you have an SE its a no brainer) and for the price they can't be beat. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=127771&stc=1http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=127772&stc=1
