 Normally when temperature readings like that start popping up; error messages are soon to follow! nojoke

That 123 degrees is warm for sure. I remember being in Vegas one time when it was 115. Hot, hot, hot.

Makes ya want to take your clothes off doesn't it. (don't forget the sunscreen) Leaving for "Spyders in the Red woods" early Sunday morning. Hope for much cooler weather once North of San Francisco. Ya gotta love those big trees. Some were there before Columbus was supposed to have "discovered" America.

I would hate to think I have purchased a $30,000 machine that can't withstand the heat :gaah: If that's the case, BRP should have just stayed in Canada :lecturef_smilie:

It's Pam Purrs (like a lioness) It's a play on words. I have had this nick since back in the IRC chat room days. Only us old folks know what I'm talking about :dg2:

I was stationed in southwest New Mexico for several years. You didn't touch the skin of the jets with a bare hand in the summer. Hottest I can remember was 117f, then add the temp radiating off the parking ramp...

But making yourself a toasted, fried-egg sandwich for lunch, was pretty easy! :yikes:

I'm always amazed at the number of people I see riding their motorcycles in shorts around here. Not only are they subjecting their skin to the Arizona blow torch of a sun, their bare legs are right next to a hot engine and pipes. Not to mention the red hot asphalt if they go down.

I cover every inch of my body when I ride in the summer, and believe it or not, it actually feels cooler than if my skin was exposed.

I just keep reciting, "It's almost winter, it's almost winter, it's almost winter.........."
