VW's are going to go up in price... oh well.. but if you want a good deal on a slightly burnt up VW .. I bet soon they will be on the market..

One news source said, the initial fire involved Calcium Carbonate ??? This is how old miners lamps and others worked. Put the chemical in the tank of the lamp, ADD WATER, produced large amounts of a gas that is ignited for light. I think some early car used them as well.

Then the second explosion was this same gas going off with the water from the first fire and I would assume ( I know, bad word) the initial "gassing" was still going on.

Not having any idea how Chinese insurance regulations work... :shocked:
If they had coverage for loss against Fire at the Plant, as well as coverage for the inventory stored there; they'll be okay... :thumbup:
But some insurance company rep, is also about to fall on a sword... :yikes:
