There appears to be impact holes in the ground to the right where the targeting laser was pointed for the last shots. Some of the comments below the video mention the gun that the guy had was a fake one. Also the female officer appeared to be shooting, I counted some 12 shots.

IMO before they left the bathroom, they should have patted him down. He could have pulled it in the restaurant (had it been real) and shot the cop in front, before the one in back could have reacted.

If you read the comments, someone mentions and explains The Terry Search. So, it appears they had a choice as to whether or not to frisk the suspect. As was mentioned in another comment, had they frisked him, he'd still be alive.

This video was not shot by one of the officers, it was recorded by his department required and issued body camera and the police officer did not put the video on the Internet, it was released by the police department.

NOW THEY WILL DEAL WITH ALL THE LITIGATION, LAW SUITS ETC, EVEN WITH BODY CAMERA FOOTAGE OF THE ACT. THEN THE CIVIL LIABILITY ISSUES, LAWSUITS ETC. AS WITH EVERY PIECE OF OUR SOCIETY NOW A DAYS, THERE ARE GOOD AND BAD APPLES IN EVERY PROFESSION --- BUT THESE PEOPLE ARE ON THE FRONT LINES IN OUR COMMUNITIES DAILY DEALING WITH THESE SITUATIONS FIRST HAND, THEY ALSO NEED THE SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENT , COMMUNITY AND SO ON.
AS SEEN BEFORE MOST LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES, STATES, ETC. DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH LIABILITY ISSUES AND REACT THE WAY THEY THINK WILL APPEASE THE COMMUNITY, THUS AVOID RIOTING ETC. THE OFFICERS THEN FACE DISIPLINARY ACTIONS, LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT, ETC. ITS TIME THE PEOPLE WHO ENTRUST LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH PROTECTING THEM, SUPPORT THESE OFFICERS AND THERE ACTIONS.
