Looks like a pretty cool product. Whenever I get around to getting a hitch on my Spyder I may get one of those.

Is it a 4 wire plug or 5 for the lights?
Is there predrilled holes for staps?
Can you attach a pic of the rack and dimensions?

Had a similar rack when I had my Goldwing GL1500 trike. Covered the license tag and rear turn signals when loaded. Does this rack come with provision for plugging into a BRP harness and hanging the plate on the rear as well as putting turn / brake lights on? The plate on my trike was lower so this may not be an issue but can't be covering up plate or lights.

It's a four prong flat plug could not get BRP's 4 prong square plug
Yes, there is a pre-holes for the license plate
The dimension is 24 inches wide and 16 inches deep
You can visit our website at www.theluggagebuddy.com for pictures

Thanks you.

Yes, there is a provision for license plate.
Yes it comes with light as an option but it only comes with a four prong flat plug could not get BRP 4 prong square plug.
Please visit our website at www.theluggagebuddy.com to see what I've done to hook up the wiring to the bike.

Thanks.

Nice looking luggage rack. Definitely provides those of us without trailers another option to carry a little bit more. I like the fact that it is a quick and easy install. I like that it has slits already cut in to allow for drainage should one get caught in the rain. Someone else already asked if the luggage rack had built in anchor points for the security straps to hook on to so I'll wait to see what the answer is for that question. Another question that I have concerning these rack systems that mount to the rear of the Sypder (or any motorcycle) is, "How do you prevent the contents of the luggage and/or coolers from smelling or tasting like exhaust fumes when you pull it out?"

Since BRP states that the tongue weight is for 40 lbs.MAX.........Does your instructions caution the user to make sure they weigh the rack loaded before they put it on the Spyder ? ? ?..............just a thought towards safety, because I did read that this rack's capacity is for " 80 lbs. "...................Mike

 Mike, This is really scary... :yikes:
I was actually coming back to ask the same question, after looking the website over a bit closer...

How much testing has been done at this higher loading capacity? :dontknow:
Please; I'm not throwing dirt... I'm just wondering...

Welcome. Your Luggage Buddy looks great, just the item I have been looking for. I don't want/need to pull a trailer and this will be great. I may be ordering down the road a bit, have to get a trailer hitch first.
