What is that strap? I've seen the carbon fiber on ebay but I've held back as apparently it is glued with some adhesive?

I have the carbon fiber knee guards, about 2 months so far, they are good. easy install, and $50 bucks for the pair. looks factory:spyder:

If I am not mistaken, the BRP Side Panel Trim Kit also uses adhesive tape to hold velcro pads under the panel pieces.

What's nice about the Akio Technology kit is the panels stay in place even when removing the Spyder Side Panels. At least, I think they do looking at the photos.
