Does anyone know of an ignition problem with the 2014 RT
I have been getting a DESS code but if I switch keys it will go.
I can then go back to the 1st and it works great. This has
happened to me several time and I'm starting to worry.
Thanks for any info.

Yup...
Go see your dealer, before the bike decides to NOT start for you. :yikes:
(DEANNA777 just had a thread about her bile's problem with this)

Yep. This was covered thoroughly in the referenced thread. You need to get an updated DESS module part number 710004190. Under warranty.

Butch; I have had the same thing as others have too. I replaced the Ign module and new keys and no help. Found out it's in the security system of the compartment latches. If you turn Ign off and go back to where ever you just were (Back door, Seat or where ever) and reclose them maybe even a few times you will get your Ign back and can move on. This sucks, but no help from dealers or Can Am. If you find someone who will disconnect this dam system let me know please. Thanks--Jerry

The compartment doors are not connected to the security system.
