Well, at least to where we are staying in the Hills. We ran into rain coming into Rapid City and it was hard enough to put a good layer on the road. Part of the problem was the road surface being so smooth. We both ended up hydroplaning and ended up pulling off to collect our wits. We continued on slowly with the flashers on. That was our first experience hydroplaning.

There was a maroon Honda trike and a black Harley trike that were having issues too. Not sure if they were hydroplaning but the pulled off and then did the slow and flasher thing too. All in all it was a good ride though.

Sounds like a good ride as long as you made it safely, now for the fun. Hope to make it next year.

I made it also. Glad I put the rain gear on before I hit that nasty cell.
