Been letting it grow back out

Had a guy I was in a band with years ago recognize me for the first time since it was short

I cut it in the summer when its in the 90s here with high humidity and cut it myself. Friends with long hair have gone to Cost Cutters and the next time I see them, I would say, "Oh Just have High your school pictures taken"? I let it grow for when its cold and may trim a half of inch off to do away with knots and split ends. I will say my forehead has gotten larger but wear a doo-rag in and out. Friends always say they have never seen me without some covering on my head.

Found em at a bikers supply store

Lot easier to use than a bandana
Stretchy breathable material already sorted out & good to go
Just put it on & adjust it to cover amount of head you desire!

I have the stretchy ones also, it just depends on which one I grab out of the drawer first. Either way there is something covering my head. Now looking for one for my dog, to wear around his neck. The groomer who cuts his claws and gives him a bath, puts one on him and if it comes off, he brings it to me to put it back on.

After I departed the service I went almost two years without doing anything but a trim on mine...my joke was that after almost shaving my head for so long it began to grow back into my head rather than out!

Now I alternate between medium and short...as you get older you realize that although you have more time you don't want to waste it on hair.
