Buck up cupcake, that's nothing it is heading to 109 today in Las Vegas and will be there through Friday. Then for the weekend the forecast is for 113 on Saturday and 111 on Sunday. We cool off back to 109 for Monday.

Please keep the 100's to yourself. I am struggling with 80's.:bowdown:

You have to be roasting there. 8 months in Las Vegas and I can't stand the humidity here in Pa.

Rode my R1200RT (my other RT) today in Tucson AZ. It was 113*. A little on the warm side, but wait, it does get warmer.

I felt like a manly man doing manly things on a manly ship. Naw, not really I felt hot but the cooling vest and soaked bandana made it bearable.

Come on down and enjoy the heat.

I know Ann. Been out there a few times. I was stationed in New Mexico for 6 years, my nose bled off and on for a year until I got acclimated. First thing they taught us was "don't touch the aircraft skin without gloves" in the summer time. Swamp coolers work wonders. And yes cyclelover it is a dry heat but it's still heat. Here's what I say to people who say that, set your oven at 110 then stick your head in it, that'll give you an idea. I would take the "dry heat" versus the soggy, take your breath away, humid heat we have here.

120.....and it's not summer yet. Not to mention the high pressure area that's brining the heat isn't due to move through for a few days yet.

Will it get hotter......you bet!

The temps here were in the 70's here I Vermont. I took a ride today, and I am riding tomorrow, and sat. Deanna

You moved to the wrong side of the state! I believe it was 90 here yesterday. Suppose to be 87 today.

How strange!!
One of the quirks that the English people are famous for is their habit of discussing the weather ad nauseum!
So in keeping alive great traditions.....it was in the 70s here today no rain and perfect riding weather so what did
I do???..............
I sat in my doctor's surgery waiting room for a 'walk in' appointment for a nasty chest infection that hit me during
the last three days. Over 100 temp. Can't breathe properly. Result: Huge antibiotics dose plus steroids...spent today
in bed as I got no sleep last night. :banghead:
