Very slick trailer but off hand I would guess it to be too heavy due to all the amenities. Perhaps a VW would be more appropriate.

I don't know for sure, but I would think it would be too heavy. Any time you add a slide-out you add a lot of weight. It would be better to have the full length trailer and forget the sliding mechanism.

At 1,212 lbs empty dry weight I don't think so. Actually doing some research is not that hard, your favorite search engine can be your friend.

Nice design but it weighs more then my rt-s

The owners manual for my RT-S (2011) states the maximum towing weight is 400 pounds. This is the combined weight of the trailer and load. The small camper you are looking at weighs over 1,000 pounds all by itself. Doesn't sound like a good idea.

Yes, again! Just do a Google search. You'll turn up several.

Don't think this one is in production yet, but I saw one today in its closed mode.

Here's some more on FB. The one in the photo dated March 30 is the one I saw today.

And so I am not a total ____________ (you can fill in the blank), here is our camper that we tow behind our Spyder:

http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=109536&stc=1

It is a 1988 Combi-Camp that opens like a clam-shell so you have a bed at one end and a "living room" tall enough so you can stand up at the other end.

Here is a picture of it set up by the previous owner:

The Kompact Kamp is my favorite design but looking at the videos it seemed there wasn't enough "living room" area for the two of us for the occasional rainy day. I might change my mind if I actually looked at one.

try the littleguy.com for a trailer
The site is actually http://www.golittleguy.com/. They're all too heavy. The lightest one is 575 lbs, almost 50% more than the Spyder spec. limit.

If that's the case then why dose it show a spyder pulling one on home page. Also Dave/ teddy - pull a moto mate camper see link http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1885&attachmentid=39766

I must be blind. I don't see a Spyder pulling any of the Little Guy trailers anywhere on their site. They show one being pulled by a Goldwing. Even that is pushing the limits IMO, even though the GW has a lot bigger motor.

The Motomate trailer appears to not exist any more. It's mfr., http://www.microlitetrailer.com/ has several small trailers. I can't tell from their website what their m/c trailer offerings really are.

I have looked at a lot of trailers and settled on the Aspen from Trailmaster. There is a guy in Portland oregon that makes a PVC Teardrop trailer . I pull my trailer and the wife pulls the dog trailer and we look like gypsys going down the highway.

When I asked him about his trailer I believe he said the company has discontinued them due to low sales.
