This is a good example of how far the fender goes down when loaded. This is with one rider on it. As you can see, the fender actually extends below the rack. Which will virtually eliminate road debris and/or rooster tails from rain. As an added bonus, it helps to isolate your load from the rear tire. For those that want extra protection, we have a vendor that sells a mud flap that attaches to the rear fender. (2015 RTS Ltd. Shown)
