Huey Cobras only had skids. They wouldn't let us taken them home, though.

This thread is making me miss my C182. It didn't have a big radial engine like the one above, but it got the job done for me, and it was "my obsession" for many years. :sour:

Yeah, I never flew a "taildragger" until I bought the Spyder. ;)
I got my license in a tricycle-gear. Then my dad said, "Now I'm going to teach you to fly a real airplane!" He taught me to fly a taildragger in an Aeronca Champ.

Lucky lady. :yes::yes: I took one of those Fly a Cessna Lessons for $10 bucks or so back in the late 70's. That was a blast.

No but still trying to shag a ride. I was a USAF Air Traffic Controler a long time ago. Now I maintain KEXX airport. Good retirement gig. Pays for Spyder stuff.:yes:
