Real quick question here... my 2011 RT is amazing and works fine, but its new actually and only has 1700 miles on it. My question is the throttle seems to be not as responsive and tight as my buddies 2014 RT. Can that be adjusted? if not, its cool, but would want to if I can.
Thanks again,
Rich

Didn't they change from cable to 'by wire' throttle ? that could be the difference you're noticing.

Both bikes are "Fly by wire".
What you're seeing, is the improved low-end response, and lower rpm clutch engagement that comes with the 1330...
There is no adjustment to the system that can fix that... only a trade-in at your favorite dealer. :D

they are both fly by wire but your comparing a big twin to a triple...like a harley to a crotch rocket. It is a high rpm twin but triples and fours will always be quicker low end. Higher up you will be surprised how they even out...you can't even adjust the idle on these machines but plugs and wires (BajaRon) made a nice change on the responce...

You can't even play with the plug wires on the 1330s... There aren't any!

I thought they didn't go to fly by wire until 2013s but prior was still reg cable!

Nope... They've had it on ALL of the RTs since Day one (2010). They started using the 991 series engines in all of the bikes in 2013.
(drive by wire, and tuned for more torque...)

You are correct for the RS. The RT has always been DBW
