So I wanted a black grill cover for the right side (brake side) to fill that gap. Found some plastic gutter screen, gorilla tape, wood burning tool and had at it.

I guess time will tell. I want to see how it holds up to the elements. I may also mix up a batch of epoxy and place some dabs here and there.

Very good, Coz! I used the wood burning tool, with the leag/diamond tip to heat the plastic screen so I could bend it around the inside of the body panel cut out. Just had to make sure not to leave it on too long. I did some tests on scrap pieces before I tried it out.

looks great..:2thumbs: hope the tape holds up. Give it a check now and again, loose plastic flying onto the pipes makes for a smokie situation....don't ask..:yikes:

I used aluminum gutter screen from Home Depot, a few years ago. Very easy to work with. I formed it to the opening on the inside, and attached it with goop adhesive. Has not budged in years. Now it is plasti dip black.

About 100 miles and so far so good. I plan on removing the panel and adding some sort of adhesive to ensure it stays put. And then maybe fill the other gaps.
