I just found this new product at Home Depot
http://www.rustoleum.com/en/product-catalog/consumer-brands/flexidip/flexidip

It comes in many colors, spray cans & is a rubber coating that you can "peel off"

I just did my:
Rims
Sprocket
Driver And Passenger Footpeg/Brackets

Light coats and patience, provides a dripless finish and I think they came out great !
-Poor mans powder coat :)

Just thought I would share...

. . . for the reminder.

I saw this in the store, but didn't have time to take a close look.

. . . . great!

This is should work well for custom 'rub' protection where your knees rub the side panels.

You got this nice photo in just before you were scolded for not posting a picture of your work. Turned out nicely. Hope it holds up to bumps and scraps though touch up would be no problem...:2thumbs: congrats..!!

Just thought I would share... I found a very local guy that's doing my wheels ( powder coat ) and sprocket for 160.00 gloss black. Excellent work, and too cheap to pass up. Pulling off the rear wheel for a new tire anyway. That spray won't hold up long around the foot pegs. Some folks have used spray bed liner in those high wear areas. Easy enough to touch up though. Good job.

Let us know how it holds up. I just got some Plastic Dip to spray the doors on my Polaris RZR. May use it for other things also.

I Blacked out my 2011RT a couple years ago.
Plasti Dip on handle bars had to redo about three times as the sun really fades it.
Muffler I did in rustolsem high heat results were very good.
Were foo pegs attach I used Truck bedliner result were so-so but I really liked the look.
Hope it works for you.
