Hello All,
Been busy farkleing away on our 2015 Spyder RT. I have added lots of stuff which I will document in future posts. Last week Meg and I installed BajaRons sway bar and shock adjusters. If you ever doubted the difference the sway bar can make, don't. Meg and I cannot believe we are riding the same Spyder. No more swaying in the wind (had 30 MPH gusts this weekend). Does not lean out in the turns and try to throw you off the Spyder anymore.
We added both at the same time, but have the shock adjusters at their lowest setting (still raised the front of the Spyder 3/4 of an inch). So I suspect the sway bar is giving us most of the benefit. We will start cranking up the shock adjusters 1 turn at a time this week.
First off, the sway bar is much thicker in diameter then the stock bar, that is how it works it's magic see below:

Believe Ron's instructions, the Spyder has to be up higher then the harbor freight ATV jack can lift the Spyder. I came up with this mod for my floor jack.

It is a 4X4 with a 1/2 hole and a 1/2 x 6 inch bolt hammered in it. The baseplate for the jack is removed and the bolt goes in the hole in the jack. This holds the 4x4 firmly in the jack so it will not slide out. Now for the Spyder side. There is a hole in the front frame of the Spyder just aft of the frunk plastic.

The hole was enlarged slightly to allow the 1/2 bolt to pass into the hole. After lifting the Spyder up with the harbor freight atv jack, just enough to slip this jack under, the bolt on the top of the 4x4 goes inside of the frame. You may need a different length of bolt for your jack, the idea is to have the bolt bottom out in the floor jack and have enough sticking out to insert in the hole in the spyders frame.

Used jack stands and kept the jack under for safety. NOTE!!!!! While raising the Spyder this way you need a helper to balance the Spyder on the way up. I really do not think the Spyder would come off the jack with several inches of bolt in the frame and the jack, but be safe! I like to lock the jack stands in the lower control arms against this bolt so they will not slide up the a arm.

Now it was an easy matter to remove the original bar and install the new sway bar.
